The partnership between Exton Square Mall and CCAA was developed in an effort to bring art to the public through free classes in the studio and making available gallery space to members of CCAA to exhibit their work. Since 2005, CCAA has offered art classes free to the public at CCAA Exton Square Studio.
Exton Square Mall is owned and managed by Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT). PREIT, founded in 1960 and one of the first equity REITs in the E.S., has a primary investment focus on retail shopping malls and power centers. Currently, PREIT’s retail portfolio consists of 56 retail properties including 38 shopping malls, 14 strip and power centers, and four properties under development. The Chester County Art Association will hold FREE art classes in their Exton Square Mall Studio during the month of January. The studio is located on the Lower Level near H&M. CCAA is open Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
